UPDATE!
I just got off of the phone with my dealer, John at Auto Europe, and he has faxed me the order confirmation from the factory. The order number is 74875 and it says build no. '12-43. So week 43 of 2012 or late October sometime.
He also said the factory informed him that all US EPA testes were finally passed on May 23rd. And he is helping me find the Detroit check point for the Gumball 3000. Now that is what I call service!

I've finally got my car! The downside is that I can't drive it until the 1st June as I'm too mean to pay a full months tax for 1 weeks use.
However, my time is being well spent in making the seats more comfortable, fashioning a neat parcel shelf which fits across the car on top of the transmission tunnel, and I've already got rid of the horrible steering wheel and substituted it for a smaller Motolita wheel which came off an S111 Lotus Seven, 25 years ago. Whilst I can't comment of the weight whilst driving, it certainly doesn't seem too hard to turn whilst manoeuvring - further report when I've done a few miles though.

Thanks guys. Re. the bevel box, when I was at the factory, I was told that the original Quaife bevel boxes were machined with incorrect clearances, and they had just received a new batch that were a LOT quieter, of which mine is one, but so far I have only had the chance to turn it around in my driveway, but will report more fully after the weekend. The factory are supposed to be recalling all cars already sent out for new boxes to be fitted, either by dealers or by the factory themselves. [There was a red one in being done on our tour]

Today my 3W left the factory - let´s hope transport to and registration in Sweden will be painless - hope to be able to pick it up at my dealer on Saturday. __________________________________ Stig
