Picked up the car after its first service this afternoon.

Strange as it may seem this has been my first contact with Borghi Automobili who are the official Italian importers and I have to say I am impressed.

Their service has been excellent and they were very helpful and gave me some good advice on some questions that I had. I was also impressed with some of their work that I saw in their workshop. They have fitted a Plus 4 SS with a fold down windscreen and aero screens without drilling any extra holes. Very nice and I am sorry I was unable to take some photos.

They are well stocked with parts and accessories and also speak English so any visitors to Italy that have need of any attention to their Morgan should not hesitate to contact them.

All the usual disclaimers: I am just an impressed customer who believes credit should be given where it is due.

Nice to add another milestone to your Morgan journey Peter! I'm intrigued about the folding screen having been told by the factory that it was a no no......just shows what can be done if people put their mind to it.

My service is today at Mike Duncan's.....a far cry from your dealers I think......but a nice place to go to as well.....and I've got the Three Wheeler as a courtesy car....if its not broken down!

I'm really sorry I did not get some photos, it was so well done, but it was already after closing time and I was worried enough about negotiating Milan's peak hour traffic.

The folding screen can not be fitted to cars with the EasyUp hood. They have made some special supports that fit to the side of the screen and allow the screen to fold down. Then they have fitted a stainless steel band that runs across the top of the dash (just behind the screen) and is fastened using the existing holes for the tonneau studs. They use some specially made screws and nuts. The Aero screens and the tonneau studs are then mounted to the stainless band.

In this way the whole system is mounted without drilling any extra holes. It is a very proffesional job and really looks the goods.
