Yep, both fantastic, and I love your optimism about no rot seeing the condition of the foam rubber, seats, hood etc. Is the club hammer significant? laugh2

A neighbour just gave me this, torn from a magazine, that he mistakenly thought was a Morgan. It too is unmistakeably British so I can understand his error.

Cheers for the comments Guys and the words of encouragement and wisdom cheers

If one had to go it would be the XK without any doubt. I love it but I have longed for a 67/8 fastback for as long as I can remember but never got=t round to it and even good cars here in the UK have signs of metal worm somewhere.

When done I'll know its perfect. It'll be the full on nut and bolt super resto, I only want to do it once.

A GT390 is a bit of a rare find....A manual even rarer. I was digging all around it today and it is truly remarkable how rot free it is.
