I personally liked to drive the Alfa Fastback Spider in 1750 version of ca. 1978 and the original GTV 2.5 litre V6.

What about a Saab 900 turbo?

Aaah, so many cars, so little time ...

I am partial to an Aston or 2 but I was thinking Aston when I submitted my list.....

Hate modern Ferraris and Massers, had a very bad experience and not keen of the owners generally, its the Footballers choice

As a quirky choice, I've always fancied an amphicar: -

Visions of beating a traffic jam by driving into a river and bypassing it! laugh2

That would kill both you and I as we don't like getting our cars wet let alone use them in the salt.....totally wasted. laugh2

The first one of those I ever saw was in Northern Ireland. Dad didn't know what it was, but it was in my Ladybird car book - instatnt recognition on my part. It was dripping water along the road, had just come out of Lough Neagh...
Only others I've seen have been in museums (the Lakeland has at least one)...

I have visions of incompetent SatNav followers being able to continue their journey after driving into a canal rofl
Wasn't there a recent TV prog (last 2 or 3 years) about the restoration of one of these?

Cheers,

I know someone with a Nissan Figaro which might make a good donor car to make something like this

I did say River use, therefore, I would be avoiding salt! wink

Graham, they come up for sale... I know, I looked a few years back oops

The Gibbs Aquada was the modern version but I don't think that ever really got off the ground (or should that be into the water?)

The problem with some translators like Babel Fish is that they can get it wrong and it then leads to funny misinterpretations!

That is funny, some translations are really not usable. But this one looks quite ok to me:
