I attempted to locate the oil pressure line this morning so that I could swap the original (Tudor guage) into the Smith's 3:1. I think that the original is located forward on the induction side of the engine. It has a pipe which runs to the back of the Tudor guage. The Smiths supplied transducer has just one terminal and looks to me as if it screws into the block in place of the original. Can anyone with this engine confirm this or tell me the correct procedure? Thankyou.

I have a T16 and it is actually integral to the foot operated valve that lubes the king pins.

But there is a small blue oil line that runs down from that to the oil filter housing.

I would guess you might do it there or possibly it splits off the fooot operated valve.

So John, do you have four independent dials and can you see the line from the oil pressure guage and follow it through?

Yep 4 dials but the oil pressure dial has an electrical connection and the sender is on the foot operated valve.
