One wonders whether it would be possible to put the new plus8 front bodywork onto an Aero8 series1??? This would really float my boat!!!!!!

Robbie, anything is possible, if your pockets are deep enough!

The original S1 development car had a new Plus 8 style front end; therefore, it has certainly been done. A very custom Aero SS left the factory awhile back - it had some individual body panels and iirc enclosed rear wheels (think a more stylish Austin Atlantic wink or the more glamorous Mercedes 540) - so the factory are able to do custom work (there are some very talented guys in Malvern).

Sorry Budster they are two different cars ! My mistake! I bought my S1 three months ago and I just love it. I've hung on to my lovely plus 8 just in case but the Aero has exceeded all expectations so it's likely I'll be selling the plus 8 soon. Go and empty that piggy bank!
