( next thing you know we''ll be haviong a Pembleton fest) The original three wheeeler was the product of its time , not least the cycle car tax structure which effectively died the death with the 'baby' Austin Seven If anyone has any doubts about this, read Mc Minnies articles in the National Archive. ( Nice pace to spend an afernoon and if all else fails you can have alook around Kew Gardens)

Those guys went fo three- wheelers on utterly practical grounds ( as a chat with a real expert such as Mike Duncan or Bob Derricot will confirm I have absolutely no problem with classic and vintage machines- I've had a love affair with the with the K3 Magnette as long asd I can remember but there are limits

Sniff the coffee and get and Ariel Atom N' est- ce pas?)

What's wrong with Pembleton ????????

Yes I am, they are a great alternative to spending £35k + on a Morgan three wheeler , new or old. They were designed by Phil Gregory , he held the motorcycle record at Shelsley for years. He used to build his whole bike himself, engine , frame et al, everything from scratch , machined himself.

He designed the Pembleton with a Morgan 3 wheeler in mind , years and years before Morgan reengineered and offered their current , very expensive option ( IMHO) smile

Not being able to justify let alone afford a M3W, I have gone for a Triking. It arrived a couple of weeks ago and I am really pleased with it. The build quality is excellent and the handling is great. Some pictures are attached below.

Cheers

Mark
