The front jacking point is the centre of the lower cross tube, which although it looks flimsy, is strong enough. I couldn't bring myself to do this without making a block of wood to spread the load. You can use axle stands at either end.

Yes you can use a trolly jack via the cross member tube to lift your morgan but make sure that the jack cannot slip off the tube. Some jacks have small flat plates to lift the vehicle others are shaped to wrap around the tube. Always use axle stands before getting under the vehicle. I have worked on the front suspension on several morgans this way with great success. I hope this helps.
