I see the car was in Coys sale at Ascot last month with an estimate of £11,000 - £13,000. Some of the vehicles in that sale were from the estate of the late Jimi Heselden, the millionaire boss of Segway who died last year. I'm not sure if this Morgan was part of the collection, or even if it sold. The proceeds from the sale of most of Jimi's cars were donated to Help for Heroes apparently.

That was my expectation - but WBAC comfortably beat (£1,000+) all three quotes we were given by franchised Audi dealers on my wife's 2YO S5 cabrio. Now Audi-less for the first time in 15 years and won't be buying from Ingolstadt again with dealers raping us like that. Can't say I'm sad the wife has ended her love affair with Audi: aggressively-driven photocopy paper salesmen's cars nowadays... swear

Had two - R65 then R100RT, the second for 16 years.
Plus 2 cars - 528, last of the pre-i, it was 8 or so when I owned it, much more recently a Z3 - pretty but too soft...
Never owned an Audi, though an original Quattro appeals... smile
