Hi Guys,
I've been lurking on here for a while now, doing my homework to a degree, about all things morgan, getting as much information as possible before i actually get out there and start looking,at the moment though i am trying to sell my 1987 Mercedes Sl to help fund my next purchase, hopefully a Morgan, still undecided on which one though,
I show my Mercedes, and people ask me what will you have next then, when i say i really quite fancy a Morgan there is a very sharp intake of breath and, what do you want one of those for,had one of those, terrible, like a damn rollerskate ,my god terribly harsh ride, you get the drift,
this certainly does'nt put me off, each to there own i say,
Just they cant be that bad surely, all the comments ive read on here ,seems to me once you've tried one theres no going back ,
so with that we are of to Southport this weekend, just so happens that the hotel is'nt a million miles away from Lifes.
Oh look dear, a Morgan Dealer!,lets just have a look.
Regards
Colin.

Mine rides better than my previous Z3...unless I'm on really rough roads...and is 10 times more fun.

My other car is a Rover 75 estate. I always reckoned that I would feel better after driving a couple of hundred miles in the Roadster than in the Rover.

They may have been referring to older Morgans... I have a 67 four seater and the seats have metal springs which help the comfort. I do know the two seater 67 Morgans (roadsters) had only plywood under the cushions.

By the way, Morgan is spelled with a capital 'M'. Must respect the 'M'.

Oh, forgot... Yes, they are great fun to drive, quick, responsive, and you become integral to the wind and nature when you drive them. That is the joy.

my old Renault Scenic (2002) rattled more than my Morgan, and like other have said, I can drive to Le Mans much more comfortably in the Morgan than almost any car.

However it does jump into pot holes and it a lttle heavy to park.

Get out there and take a few test drives, try a few types, 4/4, +4, Roadsters etc. there is no rush, a Morgan will find you, not you it.

Don't know about the Scenic, but I'll second the rest of what Steve said... smile

Enjoy the visit to Southport thumbs
