Hi, my insurance is up for renewal, current policy is underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance.

Usual story: premium has increased again this year.
Any suggestions on other companies to try?

Try one of the Morgan insurance specialists advertising in Miscellany. My +4 is insured through Headley.

Gott & Wynne - love 'em, efficient, good price, great knowledge, nice to deal with. They even have Morgan as a separate page.

No relation to them, just parting with less cash than other options !

Hmm... did try Gott & Wynne when I first purchased the vehicle, and they didn't cover supersports.

They covered my Aeromax, not cheap though. Pretty specialist to insure, I took a Chubb policy instead - similar high cost but better cover...

There are some good threads on this if you use the search function.

Gott & Wynne have done some good quotes on the Aero products.

Headley, I was personally unimpressed with, based on my last 2 quotes.

Chubb are supposed to be good but not the most cost effective.

Aviva, same as Chubb.

Last time I renewed, I shopped around and ended up saving circa £400 and ended up with the same cover and agreed value.

They wouldn't cover our 'Max (when we had one) or our Aero SS when we got that either.

We cover the SS through Boncaster (Mogsure), they have not increased premium for the 3+ years we have been with them, and nobody else have got close to their quote. They are part of Red Star who they say are the largest underwriters at Lloyds.

Most of our other cars are with Chubb, who give amazing cover though at a price - all cars are 'any driver', for example. However, they won't cover track-days.

Headley were good in our experience, but could not get near Boncaster on price.
