There's a nasty rumour going around that my Roadster is finished & will be delivered next week. Mind you, there was a very similar rumour last week... Ian

I was the same when my car was shipped from Sydney to Perth. I knwew it had been collected and was advised to allow 10 days for it to arrive. After 14 days I called to ask where it was. Turns out it was still in Sydney (various excuses followed including it's an old car and would not start).
I was advised it was going via rail the next day. A day later I was called to advised it would not fit (too narrow). After a futher few days it let by road to Adeliade where it could be loaded on the train (for which it was previously too narrow). I was told allow 10 days from then.
I went to Korea with work, I landed back at Hong Kong to change planes, where I had a one hour layover. Checked my email and voicemail. Call from the transport company (after 7 days) saying the car was ready to collect. Since it was a Friday they were closing at 4pm and rain was forecast. I googled recovery companies in Perth and was able to arrange pick-up/delivery (blind faith). Turns out they subcontracted the job to a guy with a pick-up truck that the bed could be put right on the road. Perfect.
When I got home late that night I saw the car for the first time. There was a note on the dashboard saying "press here" and "pull here" with arrows. The press was to a silver button on the dashboard (not wired - no idea what it was for) and the pull was to the heater cable under the steering column - OK it looks like a choke!
For me the car "suddenly" arrived when I least expected it - I hope it's the same for you. The wait will suddenly seem like a blip and be quickly forgotton I am sure. Quality is remembered long after delays are forgotten (or something like that!!).

There's another rumour that my dealer smuggled the car out of the factory ( I know they wanted to keep it ). According to the rumour, it's now in hiding in sunny Hertfordshire! Ian

Great news! Does the rumour say anything about when you can bring it out of the hiding place? A car like that deserves to see the sun and do some serious dancing on the hot tarmac
Edit: Not to mention to take the leading part in a TM-dedicated photo session
