Brilliant to see Andrew Strauss get his century yesterday; he's been a good captain IMHO and his dip in his batting form must have been hard. Congratulations Andrew, lets hope this heralds a solid return to run making.

Mind you, it's sad to see the West Indies as such a pale shadow of their former selves, not helped by some of their best players being in India lining their pockets with Rupees. The Clive Lloyd era Windies team was one of the most powerful in the history of cricket; talk about shock and awe. As a Hampshire fan I always had a special appreciation of andy Roberts, Gordon Greenidge and the late great Malcolm Marshall (RIP).

Its always the way, at least we won!

Regarding Hampshire I can still remember Barry Richards, Greenidge and Roberts playing in the same team, a joy to watch!
