Yes, that's the stylish way to solve it notworthy

I think I will not use the Morgan during the winter at all...and I guess the dealer has the same approach when it comes to test driving his shiny showroom cars during this period (actually I did not even dare to ask doh)

Why not consider the Anniversary 4/4 and have the sports exhaust fitted or go for a Plus 4 with a sports exhaust?

For me the extra ponies of the 2 litre engine are enough to make it an excellent compromise between the 4/4 and the Roadster.

To 4/4 or not to 4/4...the correct answer surprisingly turned out to be to Plus 4 love

Five minutes to deadline yesterday I ordered a Plus 4 (LHD, Km/h). Feels great to have taken the decision (efter my ignominious M3W turnaround). I think it is a excellent solution (to fully enjoy until I have seen, driven and most important can afford the new 3,7l Roadster...or maybe I do not need one laugh2). Delivery in mid April....77760 minutes to go.

My last five British cars have been three BRG and two red ones so now I will go for style: Ivory (Sport White) with tan leather, not really shouting racing...but I think I can take it wine

- Black wire wheels with spare
- Chrome grill with mesh
- Overriders
- Bonnet strap (tan)
- MotoLita (14", wooden, riveted, 3 round holes/spoke)
- Door pockets
- Clock
- Sun wisors (more as wind deflectors...well, not sure...but easily removed if not working or messing up the looks).
- Easy up hood in black (pvc, standard), would love a mohair hood (for looks) but the maintenance makes it a no brainer (the seagulls are like Stukas in my area...) surrender
- Side screen bag, black (pvc)
- Tonneau, black (pvc)
- Luggage rack (with space for side screens).
- External door handles, reclining sports seats, black carpets with edging matching interior (all are standard if I understood it right).
- (No mounted Tread Rubbers)

And then maybe adding after arrival: sports system, Lucas spot lamps, white indicator lenses (front), Morgans script badge (rear), chrome internal mirror, anti scratch film on side sills, period luggage bags...(bought a lottery ticket today so I guess finance is solved).

Everyone, thanks for your help notworthy oldgit

Just 77759 minutes left.../Tony

Good Choice Tony -- I have a Plus4 since Oct 2009, which followed a 1.8 Zetec 4/4, and I am still smiling(no -- grinning stupidly, actually!!!) It has much more "Grunt" out of corners and the ride and handling are much better too. Do bear in mind that it will be about 5000Kms before it frees out - at least that's what happened with mine -- then it flys!!

Hope you can bear the wait!

Well done Tony. An excellent choice. cheers

Strangely enough we were reviewing colours last night and whilst we confirmed our choice we do keep looking at Ivory with tan leather. It is a very classic combination that looks great on the car.

I have to tell you that I spent the time between ordering the car and when it finally went into build (this week) reviewing and refining the options. We did not change the colour choice but the option list did grow a little laugh2 . All part of the fun and anticipation I guess.

I will look forward to swapping impressions with you after you have taken delivery.

Good luck with the lottery ticket.

Well done Tony...a nice choice of colour and accessories. Much that I love my 4/4 Sport, you have probably made the right decision bearing in mind you want to go down the Roadster route at some stage. Mind you.....sports exhaust system, throttle bodies and you may not want to evil wink
