Sounds brilliant, what an experience. I couldn't do 3000 miles myself in a M3W, but it should be a doddle for Charles, all that publicity for Morgan in the USA and he owns the company. What more motivation do you need.

I remember a few years ago when a journalist quoted morgan owners are the same as the gumball rally tribe . I have no time for them and would have hung that idiot by his short bits if he had any.

It will bring further awareness of the M3W in the USA but I'd be interested to know if MMC will see a direction correlation in increased sales.

I have resisted using twitter to this point, so is there any chance you would be kind enough to right click said images on twitter, then 'copy image location,' then add some [img]link[/img] tags to it on this thread, so that we do not have to make a account just to look at them? Super please?

Hmm, 3000 miles in the three wheeler? I think if it was me, I would at least like a comfortable seat. I wonder if Charles has a custom foam seat?

I'm totally with you on this Simon. The appalling accident in Macedonia in the 2007 Gumball 3000 rally, in particular the way those responsible tried to evade justice, discredited the "Gumball" brand in a big way. Unless things are managed VERY differently now I'd suggest that there's a high risk that participation in this type of event on public roads could prove extremely damaging to a manufacturer's reputation.

The Gumball has started, this video playlist covers the lot of cars running this year. 2nd video, about 1:20 min in is the first glimpse of the 3 wheeler!

I realise that this will enrage many posters and upset others but I really do think Champagne Charlie's Gunmball adventure falls sinto the realm of cheap publicity
Ok, Morgan are now competing in a very hard market but surely he can do better than this. What next- the Morgan golf cart featured in 'Golf' Magazine?

I know many TMers will say " Ah, he's whingeing again" but i just cannot help thinking that Charles ain't doing an awful lot to keep his traditional market and at the same time not imressing any new buyers!

PS is the Oak Racing car REALLY a Morgan- What a joke!
