After a really great run in the lakes this afternoon stopped at the local supermarket for some provisions - called to service desk a guy in a big new BMW had just side swiped the Mog

Damaged wing, folded over bumper, all stanchions that hold the bumper bent. Thats just from a first quick look.

My question - who is best to do a repair and respray. I am based in Lancaster and the nearest dealer is Lifes in Southport.

Any reccomendations ??

Thanks - and sick as a proverbial parrot.

Chris

That's really bad luck. At least you got him.

Thats a tough break.

Having seen his work, Kevin Vernon at tudor motor bodies in Market Drayton would be where my car would be headed if such a job were required.

Although I am sure Lifes would be fine!

Sympathies. My last Roadster was hit in a car park when it was about 3 weeks old. Someone saw it & left a note with the culprit's number but didn't leave their name, so when the insurance company contacted the owner & he denied doing it, the insurance gave up & hit my no claims & the b8&$"ted got away with it! swear

If you are not to fault, why not have the car sent to the Factory ?

Lifes Ok and Dave R is a very straight- dealing guy but Kevin is a body specialist and his work is unbelievably good

In fact, a lot of the dealers send their bodywotk jobs to Kevin anyway

Bad luck you got hit,but good luck you got the blighter!

I can imagine how you feel. I had my car reversed into the grill and ding the radiator cowl and that was annoying enough and not nearly as bad. But i am sure that it will be relatively easy to fix, certainly the advantage of the MOG is that they ain't difficult to fix.

commiserations, no personal experience but Lifes seem to be dealers and Kevin vernon the real body specialist, he helped a fellow mogger rebuild a cat c car and its superb.

BTW my plus 8 got side swiped (dent in the rear wing) so not as bad as yours, trouble was it was on the Isle of Man mog event in a hotel car park exclusive to Morgans, no note on my car and no-one ever tried to contact me over the whole weekend to own up. that somewhat tainted my weekend as you can imagine.
