According to the LMC English website, 23 of the total build of 38 Ferrari GTOs are due to be taking part!

If Ferraris from the fifties and sixties were old car money and nobody wanted them, I'd probably have one. Ditto the Aston Martin DB2, and D type Jag. Ditto GT40 - the list is endless.

Personally I think it depends on the actual car rather than a broad brush marque like or dislike.

250GTO's series II don't do a lot for me but I have started really liking the series I, like the one Chris Evans has just sold.

As for the 275 GTB 4 or the 250 GT California SWB ...... love

I think the other problem, for me at least, is that I only really find out about these cars when they become 'famous' for being expensive, and as such I couldn't really visualise or identify many older Maserati's.

The Morgan Modena trip with a visit to the Maserati museum will help laugh - you should come along Ruud smile

Evans' was a series II and thus less valuable.

Have I got them the wrong way round?

I know his series (the one he had/sold, not the one he wants to buy) was rarer (33 series 1 but only 3 series 2) but less valuable confused race provenance I guess?
