It is bad enough that this has happened but the garage have been useless. The whole thing is a bad joke. I gave the garage a car worth more than £200,000 and they give me back a car that is effectively written off.

Insurance? I would have thought the insurance of the garage should cover this. They do have a responsibility of care, after all. And the owner's insurance? Surely no one who can afford a car like that would be uninsured.

Just goes to show he would have been better off with a Mog.

The fact that he attacked only one car seems like a personal vendetta. Of course the b&%$*£$ may have picked on the wrong car which would confuse any investigation.

Still it is hard to imagine a property developer that does not have any enemies.

The car was owned by an Asian properly dealer. Perhaps he has upset one of his clients. Seems strange that only that car was attacked.

I hope this isn't a theme, given our own soon to be Ferrari owning property developer.

If I were him I'd be profiling recent clients to see which could be an axe wielding maniac. Two spring to mind. hide

The assailant was obviously tooled up. Doing one car does imply vendetta. I wonder who Mr Developer carved up on the way to the dealers. My money would be on somebody he pissed off on the road, unless he's really upset somebody, maybe by going bust once too often. That even happens in my small 'town', where the serial (now barred) director of a series of liquidated companies runs a new RR Sport, wife has a Lexus, daughters have top spec Audis. He's taken local subby's for thousands, but seems to get left alone.

Even the nicest property developer is going to upset someone once in a while. There is always someone who wants things to stay the way they were. Then there are contractors and suppliers who get upset because of a million, sometimes real and sometimes imagined, reasons.

Just for you Boshly a smiley smile Last thing anyone would want to see is the axeman making a habit of chopping up Ferraris.

Working as a book keeper quite some time ago, one client (briefly) was an East End property developer who wound up a couple of companies before retiring on the proceeds. He was belted round the back of the head one night when going outside to investigate someone mucking about with his Range Rover. Probably an ex subby, but quite a long queue by the end.
