If the 87 is anything like a 72, just replace the entire hinge. Not difficult, especially if the car has been retrimmed and the trim is now held in place with screws.

The ash door frame and door post is sound and the movement is just in the door pin?
How easy is it to replace the door pin or even better is there any quick fixes.
Thanks, Will
I did this last year. I replaced with stainless steel hinges. It does takes some time because the bolts and nuts are in a very tight area behind the A frame. I suggest you use nylon nuts to lock the bolts to avoid them becoming loss with shacking.
Good luck.
