This is exactly my point.

If it we're that simple I think even MMC might have managed it. smile I don't think a Morgan without the visible immobilser is any more likey to be nicked than one that winks

I have the same issue with my 2011 4/4. The fibre optic solution works. I purchased a length of multi strand cable for a few dollars from a lighting store. AS a test, I used Plasticine to hold the cable square to the light in the body of the immobiliser and a very clear red flashing light appeared at the end. It was a tight fit but it could be made to work on a permanent basis.
I used an inspection camera to look behind the dash but could not find the LED socket (I did not spend much time looking when it wasn’t obvious)
From the front it looks like an easy task to fit the end of the cable in the lens or replace it with a suitable unit. You will need to remove the dash but this is a job I am not prepared to do while the car is under warranty unless I get it done by a licensed auto electrician.
I found it annoying that Morgan tell you the car has an immobiliser and the little light on the dash is the immobiliser indicator but you are not told the two are not connected! As highlighted elsewhere in this thread, car theft is not a major risk to a Morgan owner but anything to dissuade a potential joy rider or opportunist is worthwhile. That’s why the light is there in the first place. The fact that the light is there and not flashing may encourage unwelcome attention.

The flashing light is, I'm sure, an effective and worthwhile deterrent. However - thinking laterally - it wouldn't even have to be connected to the immobiliser! I'm sure you could just fit a flashing LED circuit and it would do the job just as well.

Personally I'd get my soldering iron out and fix it, warranty or not.

Having recently taken the dash of my Plus 4 apart to investigate an overly flashy imobiliser light (see other post) I have some pictures of a Plus 4 dash that may help. If the 4/4/ dash is similar I find it hard to see how there could be an issue unless someone moved the hole for the LED without first measuring the length of wire available. Changing the flasher sounder is not something that is as simple as changing a relay.

Thanks DaveV, very helpful indeed however I suspect the immobiliser on the 2011 4/4 is different to the one fitted to the Plus 4 and there is no wire to the dash. Recent delivered 4/4s and Plus 4s to this part of the world have been configured this way.
I might just leave this alone for the moment but many thanks for the response and photos.

I understand from morgan that the immobiliser light is set into the Ford electronics box behind the dash and there is no cable to extend. Fibre optic is probably the only way forward although I'n thinking of a dummy flashing led.

Thank you very much for the pictures!
Next week I am going to the Morgan Centre Sweden and have it fixed. Then I am going to take some photos from behind the dash. May be it will differ from +4.
If the LED is soldered direct on the circuit board, then it can be unsoldered and lifted up to put a wire to the LED.
If this is impossible, I will bring a light conductor to see if it can be used instead.
To put an dumb flashing LED in the dash, I do not see as an alternative, as one then have to have a separate switch to switch it of under driving conditions.
