Hi - I am new to the forum and have a question regarding insurance. I am considering buying a used 4/4 sport or +4 (have test drives booked at Berry Brook next week-end). I live in London (SW11) and would park the Mog on the road (covered). I contacted few insurance companies mentioned in the forum, some of them (e.g. Gott & Wynne) refused to provide a quote stating that the car would need to be in a locked garage to be insured in London. Would any of you have had this issue ? Any advice/help welcome. Thanks, Guillaume

I have a 4/4 and live in Olympia. I use Admiral, who are the best price wise for me.. I find classic policies do not like on street parking, which is a pain.
I would recomend a car cover for it though. Will

I'm about to start casting around for insurance quotes for what will be a garaged new 3.7 Roadster.
Who would be the best bet to try?
I've had one quote for £357 with a £250 excess and a 5,000 mile annual limit. This was for a £40k used Roadster rather than a new one.... Seemed a bit steep given I've got the maximum no claims discount.
