What has happened to it? It appears to have been killed and taken of line. There is a mysterious cartoon on the site but no explanation. I know people regarded it as quite down on the Factory, but I always found it quite a useful source of information (even if you had to sometimes take it with a pinch of salt). I am sorry it's gone.

I noticed this yesterday as I routinely stop by MogWire looking for any new information. I too was aware of how some regarded this source but I always enjoyed any new word about the 3 Wheeler I could find. Anyone know what the story is here?

I would not view it as a loss. I respect diversity of opinion but tired of the innuendo and twisted stories.

I'd agree. As all TMers will know, I'm not always a big fan of the Factory and I've said it often but there must also be a balance in comments on any site and my feeling with the 'Wire' was that it was very selective and only really gave 'airtime' to the views of a controlling band of contributors- who weren't always keen to look at both sides

Culled from another list:

This from the GoMog site. One of the things Lorne said he was going to do was to continue to update GoMog with things he hadn't had time to do. Check under new additions. "Traffic for GoMoG and the Morgan Wire achieved a 21 year record in May. However, the content of the site is being streamlined for the long haul and to reflect the realities of the new MMC and its new community. Please be patient. Concern is not justified."

Read that however...

Boshers,
Is that'low' as in quality or 'low' as in volume?
On the other hand, I quite accpet that in this context the terms are not mutually exclusive evil

Without independent stats from a site like Statcounter, I'd be wary of reading anything into such statements. Website hit counts are not a good measure of true visitor numbers

Yup, I delved into the site control for the Scout Group website last night. Last human visitor was me testing things, then a Google spider, and then somebody else's spider. Both of course were 'hits'.

Visit the site I look after - I learn your IP address... Scary isn't it!
