If we are going to meet for lunch we need to be at pub/ restaurant/ buttie van in lay-by for 12 noon as tour kicks off at 2pm, is this do-able?

Means an earlier start... Which puts me in the morning rush hour (though at least during the school hols its not as bad as term time).
How long is the tour approx? (Depending on number of questions asked of course smile ).
Still looking at accommodation...
