After my first tentative foray onto the forum last week as a new member, with the encouragement of others, I am happy to report back on my first Morgan experience on Monday (a day with the factory 4 seater). The totally unexpected result was somewhat of a fight broke out for the back seats: wife and 4yr old daughter whooping and putting their arms in the air like they were at Alton Towers, while 9yr old son was disappointed that it wasn't windy enough in the front. The stereo was rubbish, but that could be because the exhaust was so much better than Radio 1 selected by said son, anyway thats one option I won't be agonising over. Overall my high expectations of the car and low expectations of the female family members' reaction were both massively exceeded (phew...).

Sounds a successful jaunt.

I had the radio (with remote control) fitted as an option.
Generally, it is not on, however I foresee it being useful especially when waiting to board le Shuttle or the ferry.

Hi,Having spoken to a new owner of a four seater. He was concerned at how vunerable his two youngsters were in the rear seats from stones being thrown up.They are alot higher as you know.
Having had a bee hit me in the face when riding my motorbike at speed it hurts.
He was looking at Helmets wired to intercom and music to keep them safe and happy.
Comments please.

A good few years ago we had a hot sunny day ( honest ) I had the aero screens on . Went for a spin and was singing at full voice , no one can hear me over the Weber's so its OK . I watched a huge fly come at me the air flow sent it straight over the top of the aero screen and into my throat it went straight down did not even touch the sides . Has not stopped my singing when out in the mog.
Never heard of anyone being hurt in the rear of a mog by flying stones etc before, are new owners becoming to soft . I did fall over with laughter in a Halfords store when a young woman was about to purchase a child seat for her BMW Series 1 . The chap selling it said being as it had very hard springs etc you will need our extra soft cushion to protect the child's bottom that's an extra £30/- on top of the cost, she fell for it . Wonder how he would have got round a mog . crazy3

I think a few of the buyers purchase a mog and dont give it , or forget to give it a settling in period , the mogs not going to change but you have to . Getting used to its foibles and idiosyncrasies is the love it or loath it time period . Some expect a mog to tick all their boxes and blank out its an old style car and can not be compared with the latest saloon's etc of today , so will never tick every box . I suppose for a few its harder to come to terms with . But today's car's dont give me that BUZZ that the mog does . When buying mine I made out a yes and no list got so far down and spotted more no's ticked so I threw it away and let my heart rule my head for once. juggle thumbs
