Might try turning the hinge pin.. Also the larger diameter pins sound good as well. Do you need a special tool to fit them or are they just a straight swap? Are they on the heart of England website? Thanks Will
I took mine out, laid over a iron block with the pin head hanging over the side , whacked the center of the pin with a peen hammer,tapped back in place. not loose now.
Hi Frank, As I said I did them in situ so the other hinge tended to keep things in line. However I dont think this is critical as you are only re-cutting the existing hole and cannot go far wrong, why would you need to ream separately???. I got the 7mm pins from H 0f E, difficult bit was sourcing a 7mm reamer.
