Evening Dinner with this guy at le-mans Classic turned out to be very interesting.

Not what your probably looking for to add to your Morg, but a great guy all the same.

Nice to know how these things used to be put together. He loves those machines, simple but effective.

I enjoyed that video.
Reminded me of when I worked in a Radiator factory.
Was part of British leyland - then go it alone - now Japanese owned.
We made coppwer/brass rads for BL cars - also rads for most other cars as either OE or aftermarket
JCB/Caterham/London taxis/Land Rover/Lorries/stand alone units for big fixed engines/Specials for MODfighhting vehs of various types etc. - even had the gear to refurb spifire plane cores and saw one being done once.
We made aftermarket rads for Ford etc as well. Many others too.
In this vid he is making tubeless rads, utilising the shaped coper to form tubes. All our rads had brass endplates as he uses and a solder dipping/fusing process to seal them before tanks/frames atc were added to a core
The range was from highly automatic automatic lines to hand builds - similar to what was in the vid.
Was both enjoyable but also sometimes frustrating working there .......
