Hi
I wholeheartedly agree. I posted on this subject in June so it is good that it has been brought back to everyone's attention. I hope everyone will get their cheque books out. Have you posted this on Mogtalk and Emog?

Will pick up a ticket or two next time I'm at the dealers; just wish they had an on-line facility to buy them.

You could post a cheque to the factory. They may even be able to do it by credit card over the phone. There's no harm in asking.

Just me being lazy - I'll be back at dealers soon anyway, but thanks for suggestions.

? Is it worth offering to do that for them, as your contribution? I'm sure it would increase ticket sales - especially if all the DGs carry links to a 'buy now' page...

Too late for me though, just gone down the 'postal' route.

Anything that can raise the profile of this Appeal is a good thing. Although there are details of it at Morgan Reception and on the Website, it is easy to miss them.

I can make this thread sticky but I think we should change the title and make it more visible.

Phil / Ken, do you mind if I poach your thread and start a fresh one?

I'd be delighted. Given the pleasure we get from our cars, I think we should give the Staff at Morgan as much help as we can in publicising their appeal. There are clearly a lot of wealthy Morgan owners around so I would hope that the target of selling 10000 tickets can be substantially exceeded.

New Link Here

I have made it 'Sticky', so that it stays at the top. I have also put it in the Malvern Arms, so even non-members can read it. cheers

Excellent link - Well done!
I'm not registered with either Emog or Mogtalk. Can anyone from here get a thread going there?

There web site seems out of date - even the front page talks about events going to happen in 2007.

I wonder if they are planning to re-vamp it or update it? It would be great to know where they are with the fund raising and how Thom is doing. smile
