Just been chatting to an old school pal I once took for a ride in the mog a few years ago . He claims he still has nightmares over it .
As a 12 year old ( about 9 year ago cough, cough, ) attending a new school this stranger pounced on me in the school yard at morning break tried to throw me off the air raid shelter tops onto the yard , then tried to push my head down the toilet . He failed at both as a I was used to a school yard brawl .
We left school made it as mate's he went into the building trade , loaned me his R.R. for my parents gold wedding . I offered to take him for a ride in the mog in exchange and picked him up at his home . He lives in the stick's a few mile off a narrow fantastic road I use regular it snakes and twist's . As he sat in the mog its payback time flashed silently up in my mind , what the hell are you grinning at . You call this a car I can almost touch the road with my hand about time you got a proper car . Oh shut up you fat B/ard and enjoy it . You drive it in a normal way, dont worry I will . I think his trouser's had started to get wet at the thoughts . I pulled away quick and got to the road I love . He was banging on about going slow . I must have burnt some rubber off as I enjoyed it on every bend powering in and out , he is so used to his R.R. gliding along he forgot what fun was . After about 30 mins . I returned to his home laughing my head off , your a bloody nut I should have known you will never change driving like that it scared the Sh*t out of me I've never been so frightend in my life . I never told him why he probably can't remember our first day at school but I had.

Joking apart Jack, i think that would be classed as first rate BULLING in todays terms, but eh we just lived with it, if you told your parents they just said Hit him back !!! not that easy when your a ft shorter.

I have bumped into a few people over time i went to school with and yes that little man comes up in my head, and i can quite imagine they have no thought of it.

Only got bullied once, when i was an apprentice, told the guy to put me down and make me stay down cos if i got up he was getting ploughed down with my Triumph 2.5i

He never bothered me again.

Typical school yard trying to find their pecking order. A pal up in Bedlington who had a +8 was telling me once the kid up the street was bulling his son and he was 2 years older than his son , I have told him to do what he thinks he should do . I was not telling him to fight back but was hoping he would . One day he came in in one hell of a temper rove off his coat stormed out and almost took the front door off its frame as he left . He gave the bully a seeing to . A short while later his mother came to the front door to play hell that Mike's son was a bully . Mike enjoyed telling her where to go .
I used to have a Triumph 2000 estate but for some reason the rear door kept coming open ( even when locked ) you could travel down a road and the door would spring up in the air . I tried everything but could not fix it . I put it down to a ghost who liked fresh air . Triumph's always sailed my boat as a lad way ahead of there time , TR5Pi ( injection ) as your 2.5Pi , 16 Valve Sprint , Stag V8 , Turning circle , Bonnet's that would lift right up . If the 2000 ( 2.5Pi )had popped in the Rover V8 with injection they would have had one hell of a car for the time and it should have dropped it into the Stag also . I still fancy a Stag nothing else like it around .My pal sold his +8 he refuse's to admit he made a big mistake look at the price of them now . He went and bought a Vauxhall VX220 Turbo , its fast and holds the road but its still crap and he and I have problem's getting in and out its like a fast wheel barrow , the seats are stuck to the rear so if you have short legs thats a problem and if you have long legs you are unable to get in .
