After a busy Saturday I thought I would pop up to Wallington Hall on Sunday to see other Morgan's . On the way up the sky got very dark and down it came flood's of rain .
£18/50 to see some mogs , I could have stood in my garage for free . Spotted Tony's FHC it has a certain grace about it that put's makes other Morgan's look common . Chatted to a couple of the lad's I knew . Then ran for cover as the rain came down , thats all It did all day . As I was looking about one lady 87 y/old stopped me and said " we had one " I dug a little deeper and it appear's in the 1940's her boyfriend had a flat rad +4 it was a wreck and they scrapped it . She married him , dont know if they got rid of the car before or after they married . She told me with a wry smile and a twinkle in her eye we enjoyed our courting in the Morgan , I just said to the lady happy memories you can treasure and she walked away with a beam on her face . My wife and daughter had gone off to look about the place , and most of the Morgan's had left only two remain . The green 4/4 refused to start the chap seemed a quiet lad who is not into crowd's and he had been to my home for mog bits I had sold a few years ago . So it's Bump Start time again ( Yes Graham getting a dab hand at it )So cheaky me went over to the girl in charge of the staff and asked her to round up some strong men, would it start would it hell . I had to leave the lad as I had to visit my mother in hospital . Just phoned the lad this m/ing it was his coil to blame so he said . SWMBO Jnr said dad all Morgan owners are now old fart's with beards no young one's at all . What's going to happen when I get your mog ,( New's to me ) By the time you get my mog you will be and old fart with a beard also , she said yes dad and they have got moob's so I should fit in . Children so kind with their comment's .

First time I went to the States many years ago I went to pick up my hire car and said to the receptionist, "Can I get a discount for being an AA member", he looked at me aghast and replied "A reduction for being a DRUNK, I don't think so". Of course I found out later that day that the yank organisation is AAA.

By the way John I forgot to get that tenner offa you at Wallington.

Haha, too good. AA = Alcoholics Anonymous, a 12 step help group for drunks.

Steve, we pass by this way once and if I have the ability to make an elderly person smile or laugh and bring a little pleasure to them so they can forget their worry's then I dont think I could have been given a more humble gift and I would not swap it for the world . We all get old we just seem to forget that . Just been to hospital my mother is 89 ( rushed in on Saturday ) I was sitting telling her a rude joke and she clouted me she has been doing that since I was a little lad she say's I was always naughty , ME . innocent
