Living close to Sidmouth and knowing that part of the beach, we’re amazed at the pilot’s skill.
The landing site is very close to the cliffs.
He was also lucky that the tide was part way out.

They towed it by tractor clear of high water and dismantled it on the beach and wheeled it up the slipway full story and pictures below.
