1000 miles

1000 miles - 07/12/19 03:43 PM

I have just filled in my running log for today and added my 5.5 mile run into it. I realised that I have clocked up 1000 miles since Jan 1st. I know it`s no great shakes really, but for someone in their late 60s I feel quite pleased that not only am I able to still put one foot in front of another in sequence, but still get pleasure from doing so. It also keeps me trim - although only from the front, which I realised when I saw the fat old git on the front cover of this month`s Miscellany.
It also made me feel good in that I probably run further in a year than many Morgan owners drive during that time. joy flag

Well done Forrest Gump, my knees gave up and I had to stop playing rugby and that was a long time ago so running is out of the question having had my knees scooped out already.
May you always be able to mount the Morgan and your chips be curried.
