Welcome to the Forum Richard. cheers

One could be mislead by your 'Handle' into thinking that you would only have the best of everything available in terms of specification, extras and specialist add ons.

There are plenty of extras available if you are starting from a Bespoke Order. Just make sure that the Dealer or Factory Sales take you through eveything there is so it can be 'built in' rather than have to have items 'Retro Fitted'

The Roadster 100 was supposed to be top spec but it did not have stainless door checks, amongst other things. Some did not have Radio Arials & Speakers. Some did. Ours came with a Map Light. Others did not. Traditional Side Lights are not fitted now, but can be if requested. etc etc.

I just wonder if anyone has ever produced a Checklist from Basic to 'Bells & Whistles.

Happy Hunting thumbs

The thing is Frank, that you don't know what you don't know, and there are things outside the options list - like the stainless door checks that a first timer wouldn't know about. The mirrors are another 'unknown' .........
I tried my best to swot up before taking the plunge, but there was more I didn't know than I did - I was lucky how it turned out.

Are the stainless door checks worth having? Are these a factory fit or a dealer supplied extra? Thanks....

Do mine need adjusting? They don't hold the doors on an uphill incline when you need them most.

The stainless door checks are after market...not factory fitted. Librands make them.

The stainless door checks is one of the most practical thing I fitted on my car.
