I'm a new member to the forum. I don't have a Morgan but am considering buying a 1933 "Family Model" trike in so-so shape. I'm having a tough time determining what the value of such a vehicle might be. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

Jim, have you tried the Morgan 3 Wheeler club? Someone may be aware of the cars history and able to help in terms of costs of improving the car.

Jim, value depends very much on the condition of the car. I strongly advise to join the MTWC and the Morgan3wheeler forum where you will get any help you need. If you should buy the Threewheeler you probably will need parts from the club anyway.

Jim, I agree with the others. If you have a reasonably complete engine, gearbox, suspension and a few other parts, the three wheeler is worth what you feel is right. If you plan a first class rebuild, it will probably end up costing more in time and money than you will ever get out of it when it comes time to sell. I totally rebuilt one and had a great time! It more about having fun and enjoying the car. There are not many old three wheelers around, so for me I would buy it if felt right. Plenty of parts and help available to fix/make almost anything. Pay what you think is your limit and enjoy having a rare beauty. If you do go to buy, bring a friend who knows something about what you are looking at.
