A few more photos from my archives: these were taken by me in 2012 of the Morgan LIFEcar project. LIFE stood for Lightweight Fuel Efficient Car and the plan was for it to be a fuel-cell powered electric vehicle.
The
LIFEcar project was a collaborative project between Morgan Motor Company, QinetiQ and several universities, which included Cranfield University and the University of Oxford.
The original mode of power for the sports car was changed from fuel-cell to a hybrid electric/ICE one during the development of the LIFEcar project; however, ultimately, the entire project was ended and MMC went on to develop other eco projects such as the Plus E.
