One for Burns Night
Two guys in a pub discussing poetry, one a Scotsman was extolling the virtues of Rabbie Burns whilst the other an Englishman was disagreeing, saying Will Shakespeare was the better exponent. On leaving the hostelry the English guy spotted a guy with very bandy legs approaching them, and turning to the Scotsman asked, how would Burns describe the man? "I spied a man gan doon the road wiv shanks tha wurr extremely bowed". What would Shakespeare have said? "Forsooth!, gadzooks! , what sort of fellow is this, who carries his balls in a parenthesis"
