Lots of great posts and I'm so happy to see we're back on the constructive part of the constructive criticism track.
Totally agree with the idea/suggestion that mmc should be using owners as great tools for info as it relates to how their cars are holding up and if improvements can be made. Someone mentioned before about Morgan only being able to put a tiny amount of miles on a test car due to secrecy. Now that the cats out of the bag I think they've got a great opportunity to use the collective experiences of all of our thousands of miles we've all logged on our three wheelers. A bit of the old student becomes the teacher if you will.
As for the comment of r&d and low volume production, while not a perfect example due to price point (at least for the 3w, it's more applicable to the aero cars) icon motors is a great example of super low volume at an insane quality and reliability (http://www.icon4x4.com/)and of course more r&d and tighter QC most likely will raise prices.
Gotta run but in closing I'll leave you all with an iPhone shot from my commute this morning.
