How near is "near"?
Living where I do - West-ish Wales, we have access to Brecon beacons/Pembrokeshire/Cardiganshire/Gower etc all reachable for a drive of varying distance.
There are MANY good routes of varying types.
A4069 Black mountain Rd Ammanford to llangadog is very popular - but watch for sheep and speed enforcement and some isiots
It's often a case of how long do I have that determines where to go
We have coast routes/inland routes/roads varying from a to lanes/tracks
Plenty of coffee/food locations.
Hmmmmmm.....
