Drove the 86 Plus 8 out to lunch today. Met up with a fellow Morgan owner (36 MK4 SS, 50 F Super) and 2005 Roadster. He had the Roadster. We parked adjacent and there was a definite difference in door lengths between the two cars. Although it wasn't overly apparent. Obviously mine was a short door and his a long door. I watched him get in and out of the car and he didn't go through the gyrations that I did. He is however a bit smaller than I. So I would have to say, albeit not terribly scientific, that the long door cars are easier to get into/out of than the short door cars.

Cheers,
