Ah well, that's the wonder of Morgan. You only find this stuff out after you've parted with your hard-earned.
Buying a Morgan is a bit like getting married. You think you know everything that matters....... until you get married.
When I bought my Roadster I'd been in the Club for five years and trawled the internet cars for sale over that period.
I didn't even realise there were two hoods.
I certainly didn't know that the front track (at that time) was almost six inches narrower than the rear. I measured the front width to make sure it would fit down the drive......... Good job I allowed some leeway.
What I did know was that some Morgans looked much better than others.
I just bought 'a rack' and that was it.
