John at Heart of England suggested pulling back the leather on the crash pad that would be just glued with trimmers glue and then cutting out the rubber however if you think that it seems to be stable enough on the pad as it is then it's a tricky part of the job saved

Looking at mine, I think I would feel better having the aero screen feet flat against the metal with just the thickness of the leather as there seems to be quite a lot of padding

John has gone away on hols until the end of May so I'm deferring the project until then and in the meantime I'm going to pop in to see Andy who works at Lifes Motors in Southport as he used to have the same model as mine and fitted aeroscreens and a folding windscreen so his experience will be invaluable
