One of the great feature of using the Tyre to Travel is it uses Google Maps as a base map and you can simply use the Street View option to actually see what the route looks like
It's a pity you can't get a rolling video of the journey but have to do it in steps.
Bob, my Garmin allows the selected route to be run so you can see it in action before setting off. I have used it a couple of times to get an overview in my mind and identify waypoints that I would expect to see.
I have also used google street view to get visuals of some junctions/turns to spot landmarks to use as they are approached. That way you don’t need to use street view for the whole journey, just for key points.
