I'm tiring of Adrian Flux business model regarding insurance renewal, it seems to be :
STEP 1, Offer the punter ridiculously high renewal premium.
STEP 2, Let them shop around for a better offer.
STEP 3, Match the offer.
May be I'm wrong at least it keeps us on our toes. Whose getting the best renewal deals on Talk Morgan. My offer for this coming year is £340 fully comp for 5k/year, with no silly add ons like rescue, key loss, ice cover, think i pay first £500. Car is a 2011 +4 with +4 SS engine (200hp Omex MZR). Location is North Yorkshire. What does the panel think? Who are you using? I don't want to speak to a call centre jockey who was selling double glazing yesterday and car insurance today, i want someone who understands his business. Mention of a the car spec seems to cause sharp intakes of breath and ooh, I'll have to come back to you, clearly someone who doesn't know thier business.....an irritating waste of time.
