It’s interesting that the new Supersport design features appeal to some and repel others. I seem to be fixated on the louvres and front and definitely wouldn’t want a hard top while others welcome the hard top and don’t care about minor aesthetic details.
I don’t mind about the BMW gear stick for instance - just a blend of tradition and modernity.
Just throwing this out there, (might be wrong), but recent converts to the Morgan brand might find it easier to accept design changes than those of us that have been wedded to the marque for many years and find the removal or change of familiar features harder to accept.
During the first few years of ownership, I just completely accepted them as they were and only over time did I start chomping on my pipe at any design divergence.
I’ve noticed with new Morgan models it takes me a while to come round and helps to see them in the metal a few times.
Initially dismissive of the Aero 5 and Plus 6, came round to both of them eventually.
