& you might have noticed that the article was about pollution in general, without naming sources.

Most folks' working presumption would be that internal combustion engines contribute most to that pollution.

it's not

& there's plenty of research around suggesting that the brakes and tyres on heavier EV cars produce more toxic pollutants than even diesel exhausts
