It's interesting that the research says EVs produce more pollutants from the barkes, whereas most EVs and PHEVs use regeneration to slow the car. I hardly touch my brakes in my PHEV. Lift the pedal and the car brakes to a stop. EV drivers are advised to use their brakes occasionally just to ensure the disks and pads are kept clean. Tyre wear is a different matter.
