HAHA WOW! Lots more pics at the link. Bet you never saw an Isetta like this before! Well, neither have we. The three-wheel Isetta was never much of a performance vehicle, until now...
What you see here is more engine than car, featuring a 1959 Isetta essentially strapped onto a superchaged Chevy V8 502 cubic inch engine putting down 730hp, with just two gears on its manual transmission. Forced induction is handled by a BDS supercharger and the powertrain also features twin Holley 750 CFM double pumper carburetors, and Zoomies exhaust headers that shoot flames 4 feet long.
The Isetta dragster adds to its inherent Bavarian-ness with a M3 suspension system and comes with dual circuit disc brakes, AP balance bar, chromed five spoke front wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich G-Force tires. The rear wheel is 18" racing wheel with a Sumitomo HTRZ II tire.
The dragster's final total length is 12 ft. 4 in. in length
You could actually own this little monster as it's going up on auction at RM Auctions. How deep will you have to reach into your pockets? Expected auction price is between $75,000 - $100,000. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=797616

Now I'd like to see that baby going down the strip - you gotta admire the originality of thought on this one It makes the old Ford Pop with Hemi in look like a Sincair C5 in comparison. Thanks for sharing.

I showed this to She has a soft spot for the Isetta because her next door neighbours had one in the 60s when she was a child. Apparently the neighbours drove to Greece in it for a holiday... I know, I know, it beggars belief! Bet they would have got there quicker in this one

When this was first posted I didn't realise about the BMW suspension - apt really when you think that the Isetta bubble car was manufactured by BMW from the mid 50's to the mid 60's. Shame the motor isn't sourced from BMW too.

Yes you'd have thought that the current Morgan +8 powerplant would have been adequate for the Tesco-run really I'm assuming with the myriad changes that Charles seems hellbent on bringing about it is the Bavarian Motor Werks product this week
