Off topic: Qnflyr, where in Florida are you located? I am in the NorthEast and would love to see your car if you are situated anywhere near there.

^ same question as above. I'm in the Northwest(Pandhandle) - would be happy to make the drive to see one in action. Got to start one up out in Cali back in October...but would be much happier begging for a ride.

Charlie,

I assume that this is not an agreed value policy, which is ok for the first year or two as depreciation should not be too high. With agreed value if you, say, have $50,000 then if totaled they write you a check for $50,000. Just be sure you have first option to buy it back.

With ordinary insurance, regardless of deductible, they pay you the blue book value, or equiv. So maybe you paid $50,000 and by year 3 blue book says $35,000 that is what you get. Agreed value would have paid you $50,000.

I do keep one +4 with ordinary insurance so I can use whenever, but can take the risk for real value vs blue book if I total it as difference is not too great.

Insurance is always a trade off.

Curious: Does Michigan require you to have a motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license for the 3 Wheeler or is it if you ride on it like a Can Am you need the endorsement or if you ride "in" it as in the 3 wheeler you do not?

Sounds like you need a snow plow as an option from the dealer?

Enjoy it. You will find it great fun.

I don't believe that I need a motorcycle endorsement here for the Morgan since it has a steering wheel and car transmission.

I did not get an agreed value policy as you said, for the first couple years to save a few hundred dollars.

The radar is saying it should be snowing and north of here has been hit pretty hard, but so far the snow has avoided this area. Once this passes we will have a few days in the 40s (F)!

Sounds like a reasonable approach.

Same here on license. You sit in it and not on it and has steering wheel and car controls.

We only ended up with about 5 - 6 inches of snow here, but the sun is already out. Only 40 days left till the first day of spring!

Registers as a bike, so I think it would have bike plates.
