Hi,
M3W Engine warning lamp On due to missfire (out of fuel banghead)
According to the manual this is a expected consequence,
and also for other modern vehicles if you search at the internet.

The warning didn't dissapear after battery disconnect during the night.
According to my dealer, the warning will automatically dissapear after some time running Ok.
(I don't want to drive 7 hours to/from my dealer just to reset the error code, or to other non Morgan dealer.)

Thanks to my wife, that fixed fuel for me to drive home love

PS Do not rely on the M3W fuel gauge(se other subjects at TM).

This time the gauge was stopped at 2%... for a to long time...
Before no problem to run with gauge at 0%.

This time I will fill up the tank 100% to find out the size.
(now just some 1 liter so I could get home)

Now the warning has gone.
Around 38 litres to almost full, so 42 l for total full is probably correct.

The book said that 25 liter at "E"
Normaly when at "E" we can fill in about 17 liters
When both filled at same time and same distances one car shows "E" and the other still 25 %. But never the same car !!!
Our policy is if one shows "E" we need to tank in the next 100 km.
We're curious about the real capacity of the tank(s)

Noted that if we fill up till max.max. (when you can see the gas in the opening) the engine can't run smoothly anymore the first few hundred meters.
So stop filling as soon the filling pistol has stopped.

There has been a previous discussion about this .
The gauge reads zero when about half the fuel is used for me this is around 100miles which I guess is around 160 kilometers .
I reset the trip meter each time I fill up and then refill at around 220 miles when it takes around 36 litres.
As Herman says the capacity is supposed to be 42 litres

Forgot to say that curiously my handbook says capacity is 55 litres at E !!
And yes , it seems over filling can cause problems ...
