A long and dangerous run out of the garage onto the drive.

There I washed, rinsed and dried the paintwork before concluding it was too bright and warm to polish it.

The return journey was equaly tough.

Must say the firm gear lever knob is nice, no more wobbles...

Well, our man has returned to the W.Mids after yet another purchase fell through (there are further mitigating circumstances), so it looks like swmbo and I for a short week early Sept now. Probably in the 90...
No firm decisions as yet, but likely to be near S.Devon railway, maybe... smile

Lucky man that is a fun drive. Bovey straights in particular used to be great om my motorbikes in the 70s. But of course if you can see Haytor rain is coming if you can't it is raining.

We went out again to Whiteleaf Cross will post photos. swmbo is v happy with the windblocker & enjoyed it more (Eric Morecambe jokes only please).

Laid up with the worst case of flue I can remember. Coughing up all colours; sinuses producing more fluid than I thought a body could hold; teeth hurt, ears hurt, scalp hurts, shaving hurts; not enough strength to open a car door. Not very happy about all the sunshine.
