Having just returned from Classic le Mans I have found a split in the hood. This is about 4" towards the back rail from a point abover the Tenax clip.
Whilst examining I noticed that there are two cap head hex bolts in slotted holes and the ones on the side of the tear were very loose (other side tight).
I have effected a repair with a patch/adhesive and stitching.
Hood is Vinyl
Does anyone know if adjusting the hood should be done with it fully erected and then tightening these hex bolts as I do not want too much starin on screen.
